Emma Boddy


Emma is an actress, life coach and facilitator who has a background in mental health and has worked as a recovery worker for 'Mind' in Exeter, facilitating workshops for Devon Partnership Trust, CVS & Devon Recovery Learning Community for the past 5 years.

She regularly runs her own Improv workshops called 'Express yourself with Emma Boddy' in Exeter as well as at festivals around the U.K, helping participants to get out of their heads and into the moment. She has immersed herself in the world of improv performance - training deeply in short & long form improv comedy, Meisner Technique and Playback Theatre as well as mentoring with Terrance Stamp.

Before discovering her love for improv, Emma ran her own non-contact boxing and kickboxing fitness classes for women called 'Thump Functional Boxing/Kickboxing’

Emma strongly believes in people being heard, seen and accepted for who they are. She has a level 5 in Personal Performance Coaching with NLP, a diploma in holistic therapies and has run her own business utilizing her background in mental health & wellbeing through her coaching. She is currently working towards a degree in counselling through Plymouth University.
